This year, Recursion and Exscientia officially combined. We became hyper fixated on “complementarity”, “business as usual”, and 1+1 =700. But with our powers combined, we’re clearly the leaders in TechBio - just don’t ask us to schedule a meeting during Golden Hours - it’s full!

We expanded to London! Technically, we planted our flag in London before the merger but who's counting it's just one big happy UK team - united by science, divided by an unreasonably expensive train ride.

At JPM, we pulled back the curtain on LOWE—our LLM-powered discovery engine—co-hosted an event with NVIDIA, and even got a keynote from Jensen Huang himself. But what really stole the show? Us, standing on the rainy streets of San Francisco, handing out Recursion umbrellas. We were soaked, the umbrellas weren’t. Mission accomplished

We’ve got SOPs, corporate policies, and more layers of leadership than an onion in the fall with a light sweater. But, we will never stop being ridiculous!

We went to NVIDIA GTC and brought a 3d printed, rainbow spray-painted GPU necklace 😬 ... and had him sign it... then we presented him with one of his own when he came for Download Day...

I'm not too excited, you're too excited. 🤓

We made history this year when the Neuromap team delivered the world’s first neuroscience map. That’s right: three years, trillions of cells, and methods so cutting-edge they might actually cut you. But behind the breakthrough science are the hoomans and catboots —jumping, selfies, and masked scientists looking less like researchers and more like sleep-deprived parents of trillions of tiny cell babies. Drink your media so you grow up healthy and strong! Big WINS and Huge THANK YOU!
