All the way back in 2016, we had our eyes on the future. “How often do you get to ride the two biggest tech trends of the last decade?” Well, it turns out that we do it A LOT at Recursion!
Not ever a company to invite a headliner or blow it out in Vegas - we'd just connect and celebrate. It was simpler to do a chill hang with 25 people than with hundreds, but we’ll always be these people at heart.

We formally announced our move to a new space in Research Park, and hosted
an auction of Recursion furniture to ensure nothing went to waste. How quaint,
$20 for a used chair. $5 for a spool! Times were… different!

Planning is work! We set our 2017 goals at this annual planning offsite at the Gallivan Center which included hitting 350 plates per week throughput (these were 384-well plates) and automating the selection of drugs to move forward from our phenomics platform! Boom! We’ve always been industrializing and scaling like whoa!
